TOAST OF CHAMPAIGN - a Sweet Adelines Chorus
Founded in 1952

The Toast of Champaign chorus, an award-winning chorus, is a Chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide, non-profit organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance. This chapter was established in April 1952 and we are the ORIGINAL A Capella group in Champaign County and have been WOWING audiences for over 60 years! We are made up of women of all ages, walks of life and from all parts of East Central Illinois. Women just like YOU! Barbershop harmony is one of only two truly American art forms - the other being jazz (and we like singing jazz, too). Come join us!
ANNOUNCEMENT -- We are pleased to announce the election of our own director, Jackie Compton, as the 2019 Woman of Note from the Toast of Champaign chorus. Please check out the Member Resources page for details. |
